The Princess Pat

2007: One lunch break I was trying to record on a computer so I could get some students to read for me. A bunch of kids came in and it turned into a recording session. Kids like the call and response songs and the Princess Pat is one of the fun ones.





The Princess Pat lived in a tree
She sailed across the seven seas
She sailed across the channel too
And brought with her a riggabamboo

A riggabamboo now what is that?
It's something made by the Princess Pat
It's red and gold, and purple too
That's why it's called a riggabamboo

Now Captain Jack had a mighty fine crew
He sailed across the channel too
But his ship sank and yours will too
If you don't have a riggabamboo
